The institute offers Korean and English education programs and a variety of culture experiences for Chodang university students through systematic education practices. Moreover, it provides
them the Overseas Language Learning and Culture Program, and the Exchange Students Program to the United States and China. It also develops teaching materials in Korean, Chinese, and English, and offers
the Korean and Culture Education program for female immigrants.
Ophthalmic Optics Museum
The Museum located on 5th floor in the main administration building is the unique one, which systematically shows the history of glasses, preserves the culture heritage of glasses, and helps the understanding of
glasses. About 5,000 glasses including the glasses of Presidents of Korea are exhibited in 7 exhibition rooms.
Fire Fighting Museum
The Museum helps the public understanding of fire fighting and is used as a fire fighting experience area by the public. It displays about 2,500 fire fighting apparatuses and equipments from
Chosun dynasty to the present.
Chodang History Museum
The Museum, which opened in April 2004, consists of exhibition room of materials from different departments, gallery, and Chodang history room. It shows all of the University��s materials
from the University opening in 1994 to the present.
Chodang Artificial Forestry
Chodang Industrial Co. Ltd. has planted more than 5 million trees on 3 million pyung(2,500 acre) in Gangjin, Jeollanamdo over the past 40 years, and the field of forestry in Korea
has estimated it as the best artificial forestry complex. The forestry complex called 'Chodang Forestry' has Japan cedars, sun trees, loblolly pines, and tulip trees as representatives of silviculture.
Chodang Pharmaceutic Industry Co. Ltd.
Since it was established in 1982, the company has contributed to the public health and healthy lives by producing superior medicine and medical supplies. It produces about 60 different types of medicine and medical
supplies, including anti-inflammatory analgesic drug, 'Prodoc' and tries to introduce new technologies and to develop new medicines and novel materials in affiliation with foreign companies.
Baekje Pharmacy Co. Ltd.
Baekje Pharmacy Co. Ltd. is one of the largest medicine and medical supplies distribution company. The company supplies medicine and medical products to about 7,000 different drug stores, clinics,
and hospitals located throughout Korea.
Gangjin Workshop Institute
The Institute along with Chodang Artificial Forestry is used as a workshop place for the employees of Chodang University, Backje Pharmacy Co. Ltd., and Chodang Pharmaceutic Industry Co. Ltd..
It also provides a Slow Culture experience course hosted by Slow Culture Research Center, Chodang University.
Choeun YangEunSook Welfare Foundation
The Foundation was founded in memory of late Choeun Ms. Eun-sook Yang. The Welfare Foundation is supporting the groups of people that Ms. Yang was especially concerned about such as underprivileged elderlies,
the single seniors, and children without parents.
